What makes the Butter Crayon unique?

i. It is made of high temperature silicone so it can be used on a hot surface of up to 450 degrees without melting the apparatus.

ii. The unique design locks the butter into place with the slight pressure of your hand, so butter won't slide back into the device when you are buttering toast or a hot pan.

iii. When you are done, butter pushes back in when the cap is applied and is kept fresh in the fridge.

iv. Corn-on-the-cob buttering devices have a curved shape where the butter comes out. If you tried to use one of these in a hot pan, no butter would touch the pan and the device itself would melt.

v. There are butter devices that chop off a pat of butter which is excellent for baking, but they don't butter a hot pan, griddle or toast with perfect, even coverage.

vi. Extruders will push out a ribbon, star or moon shape of butter which looks great on a plate, but they don't butter a hot pan, griddle or toast with perfect, even coverage.

When it comes to buttering a hot pan or griddle evenly and quickly or making piles of toast of seconds, the Butter Crayon stands alone!
